Cisco VPN AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client and ENS 10.7

Hi, We have an issue with Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client 4.5 after upgrading to ENS 10.7 (Feb 2021 Update). Users get error "The VPN client driver encountered an error. Please restart the device" and users cannot connect to VPN. This is affecting Windows 7 systems ONLY.

Steps taken thus far:
1. Disable McAfee ENS 10.7 (Feb 2021 Update) - Users still getting VPN client error when connecting
2. Removed all McAfee ENS 10.7 (Feb 2021 Update) modules - Users able to connect to VPN without any error.

ENS events shows nothing suspicious or block events

Any ideas, how to resolve this issue?...Thank you.

Re: Cisco VPN AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client and ENS 10.7

Thank you for posting on the Community.

There is knowledge similar to this problem. Could you try this workaround?

// Cisco AnyConnect doesn't detect ENS Firewall and users can't connect to the VPN
https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB88476&actp=null&viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_U...

If you're having this issue with just one, could you try reinstalling ENS?

If it is happening on multiple machines, it is necessary to investigate with not only the product log but also the debug log, trace log, Procmon and other information with a Service request.
Therefore, could you please contact McAfee Technical Support for assistance?

Re: Cisco VPN AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client and ENS 10.7

Thanks you for the feedback.

As per SR logged, they could not find any anything suspicious or calling out an issue on the ENS side from the logs supplied. As this is only affecting some Windows 7 systems. we are just reinstalling ENS 10.7 which resolves the issue.
