I deployed this yesterday to some test systems which were up to date with the May update. I created a deployment task which installed the Endpoint security platform and the Endpoint security threat prevention, here are the results:
Any help would be appreciated.
The ENS installer will detect older versions and remove these during the installation (if you used a full installation package). You may see some odd reports if you have not rebooted after the install however after the install, you should see the older versions listed removed/ listed as uninstalled.
If you are migrating from VSE though, I would suggest looking into the EUA tool, which is our Endpoint Upgrade Assistant. This will help you upgrade the systems from VSE to ENS.
So, what I've described is normal then?
I have a solid migration plan that I vetted out with our McAfee sales engineer. I'm also moving from an old EPO 5.3.2 to a new EPO 5.10 so I'm using the package creator to move systems over and upgrade to ENS. It's working very well so far.
Thanks for the quick response
Sorry, for Hijacking the thread.
It's slightly odd that it's taking that amount of time to refresh but this could be because of your migration plan combined with the ePO switch etc. It's a bit more complex than just an ENS upgrade for example.
The Problme i have here is that i can´t see the JULY updates .. last one is from May wich wont work with 1903.
so where to order that JULY ENS install packed ?
