We use McAfee ENS ATP 10.7 managed by an ePO server. We control access to the internet by forcing our users to use a WPAD script (IE Connection settings) and within the ENS firewall rules, I have an allow to "Trusted Networks" (which hosts our proxies) and a block lower down against IE Chrome and Firefox. It appeared that Edge was still allowing access. to the Internet. bypassing the script and rule. I've tried changing the Firewall rule to block all port 80 and 443 inbound but this doesn't stop anything. Anyone got a got "bottom Stopper rule to prevent access direct to the Internet?
Thank you or your post. Can you kindly please explain the issue more? Is ENS Firewall blocking connectivity to Internet?
Is the block seen via browsers only? Can you ping Google DNS?
Sorry about that! Just looked into it again. May I know if you have tried blocking MicrosoftEdge.exe and microsoftEdgeCP.exe as well using your block rules?
From your description, I believe you may be facing the issue described in this KB article: https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB92248
I would advise you to upgrade to ENS 10.7 Feb Update if you find this KB matches your symptoms.
