Advanced Threat Protection blocked violation

Two months ago we rolled out ATP to our enterprise. I kept it in observe mode since then and have only had one hit on two different systems. This triggered the ATP core file protection and blocked whatever happened. I'm not able to find any further details, both machines look perfectly healthy. I'm not sure what would trigger this type of error, especially on two unrelated devices.

Adaptive Threat Protection - Protects $mfedeeprem folder and subfolders:

NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM ran SYSTEM:REMOTE\SYSTEM:REMOTE, which tried to access C:\$MfeDeepRem\SESSION_COUNT, violating the rule "Adaptive Threat Protection - Protects $mfedeeprem folder and subfolders ", and was blocked. For information on how to respond to this event, see KB85494.

Re: Advanced Threat Protection blocked violation

There also does not appear to be any note of it in either the activity or debug log on the local machine, nor is there anything in the EPO server under ATP threat reporting.
