AOS Local exclusion in ENS 10.7 for migration from VSE 8.8

We are migrating legacy hosts using VSE 8.8 to ENS 10.7.

We have AOS local exclusion set for those VSE 8.8 clients and we need they to be kept after ENS 10.7 migration. For context we are not able to aggregate those exclusions into new policies and need to keep them as local exclusion for the time being.

Here are my questions :

  1. Are AOS local exclusions erased if we use EPO "upgrade" ?
  2. Are AOS local exclusions erased if we uninstall VSE and then reinstall ENS using framepkg binary ?
  3. If 1. or 2. is a no; We might be able to automate pulling the VSE OAS exclusion from the registry key but we are not sure about pushsing back the exclusions for ENS. I think the registry key can't be simply put back as it is for ENS to use it (not the same format/path). Any information about conversion of the registry key and the path to apply it would be a saver.

Thanks for your help.

Best regards.

Re: AOS Local exclusion in ENS 10.7 for migration from VSE 8.8

There two ways to approach this.
1) EMA - Endpoint Migration Assistant
You could check this extension in the ePO and migrate the policies from VSE to ENS.

2) Package Designer.
You could design your own package for ENS with custom policies.
Therefore whenever they are installed on the client they will have the policy designed by you.

Let me know if this helps.
