AMCore content version information isnt availible on the EPO server

I have asystem installed with McAfee ePO 5.10 update 10, also the ENS 10.7 with all the required extensions.

I have installed the agent "5.7.3" and ENS 10.7 including TP 10.7, and updated the AMCore content, and this is done with succes..... But... When I add the columm to ePO, under system tree: AMCore Content Version" the columm is empty.. as in completely...

If I go to the nodes in question(which is all of them.. I have 19 nodes in this system) they ALL are updated with the new AMCore content.. "4468" and this info is hshowing in the about section on all the nodes.. but this information isnt getting to the ePO server t self.

I can see no errors in the logs, and I cannot find any communication error from the client to the server, or vice versa...

Any thoughts to this issue?

I have tried to google the S*** out of this, but with NO succes so far..

BR

Dennis.

Re: AMCore content version information isnt availible on the EPO server

Hi @DennisSD,

Good day to you!

Could you please confirm if you are able to see the AMcore content version within the system properties?

1. Click on System tree

2. Click on any of the 19 machines

3. Click on Products installed

4. Click on Endpoint Security Threat Prevention

5. Scroll down and locate the About section and you should find the AMcore content version

The column name on the System tree you should choose to view the content is "AMcore content version"

Share the screenshots of the ePo system tree for the machines.

Regards,

AJ

Re: AMCore content version information isnt availible on the EPO server

I have added the Column AMCore content version, as seen in the picture attached.

And also I have added the screen you asked for, bu tthere is NO about section in th Treat Prevention part...???

If I go the the node ro all of them, and look there in the About, opened from ENS, there is information, which is not represented in the EPO server.

Re: AMCore content version information isnt availible on the EPO server

Hi DennisSD,

Can you confirm the ePO CU Patch version installed ?

If the patch installed is old, can you try installing the latest CU patch 9 or 10.

Afterwards, restart the ePO (tomcat, apache and eventparser) services.

Then try check the column name on the System Tree >> "AMcore content version" again.

Re: AMCore content version information isnt availible on the EPO server

Hi.

The CU is Update 10 McAfee ePO 5.10 update 10, is installed.

I have even installed a completely NEW ePO server on another server, just to check if there was something gone wrong on the actual ePO server, but no, I get the same result there from all the nodes, no information regarding AMCore content version, or engine version.

I created the task as instructed and it and got 3 green bars and thought I was good but no joy.  Data is still missing.  I did look on the host and the correct values are in the Windows registry.
