i have a problem with a laptop.
After returning from hibernate mode, thepre-boot authenication lost the username.
After give the username - a failureoccured: file access failed Using Admin-User works.
Reset Token says also file access failedAdministrator-Recovery works. After that, i do in windows wake up agents andreenroll policies, after the reboot, the same failure occured.
Assign another user to endpointencryption and also do wake up agents and reenroll policies, the preboot says:unknown user.
ProviderPlugin 126.96.36.199 and Agent Host188.8.131.52 are used - so normally the bug with hibernate should fixed with thisversion.
How can i repair the preboot ?
I attached you the mfeepe.log
Thanks for help
After clicking emergency boot a window appears with the hint, that now booting windows and changing mbr.
After a while black screen with booting operating system appers, then all black and no more activity from the hdd.
It is a Dell D630
I tested emergency boot also with another laptop ( D6500) - eetech standalone with emergency boot doesn't work - also after starting operating system - black screen !
usually this means you are using the wrong DB export from ePO, or that the machine has been deleted out of EPO since it activated encryption. I believe there's a tool you can get from Tier III to correct this situation (EEGo maybe?)
I know only one way to export Recovery Information: search for the computername, mark it, actions, endpoint encryption, export recovery information.
I think, that is the right DB Export ?
The machine is still in EPO.
I have a open ticket at Gold Support - it is now at Tier II , I hope they know of EEGo !
Perhaps personal message with the link for EEGo with manual ?
