can you install & run endpoint encryption without uninstalling HP Protection tools. if so, how can you disable HP protection tools
You should not install eepc if you have Drive Encryption for HP ProtectTools. You need to uninstall that first.
To remove HPPT, go to HPPT Security Manager and uncheck BIOS Security/Drive Encryption/Credential Manager checkboxes. Then uninstall, once decryption has completed, from Add/Remove Programs.
You could do it with EPO Realtime Advanced? Otherwise Deep Command only gets you a KVM to the machine - you still have to do the uninstall yourself.
Let me rephrase that one, sounds like i am asking how to uninstall EPO products for client pc's. I know there is some problems with Endpoint Encryption on Dell computers reason being BIOS out of date. How can this be updated before installing Endpoint Encryption?
Not sure I understand what you are asking - it seems as if you are asking how to update a Dell BIOS? It depends on the exact model of computer I expect - you'd need to learn that from Dell themselves?
