What Is The Maximum Partition Size Supported By Device Encryption 7.1?

I have a user who wants to install a two terabyte hard drive and then partition it with a 350GB C partition and the remaining 1.5TB+ as a second partition with drive letter E. Does DE7.1 have any limitations with partition larger than a terabyte?

Re: What Is The Maximum Partition Size Supported By Device Encryption 7.1?

Drive Encryption does not have maximum partition size and creation of these two partitions should work as expected. There are no space limits set by Drive Encryption. Limits are based on the partition scheme of the disk. MBR has a partition size limit of 2 Terabytes. GPT has a limit of 8 ZebiBytes. To utilize a GPT partitioned primary disk, it is required the system be in UEFI mode.
