User unable to authenticate after wakeup from suspend mode

Hi there,

after recovery a PC from suspend mode user is not able to authenticate on logon because Windows refuses credentials, he must reboot the machine.

It sounds strange because EEPC doesn't prompt for PBF. Laptop is HP Probook 6460b.

Endpoint Encryption is 6.2 with Windows 7.

Any idea?

Thanks.

Re: User unable to authenticate after wakeup from suspend mode

Hi Umberto,

I have a few questions, to clarify exactly what you mean:

  • What type of recovery was performed?
  • Is it the Windows authentication that is failing, or an EELogon authentication that is failing?
  • By PBF do you mean Pre-boot authentication?
  • Was the system working just fine before the suspend?
  • When was the suspend performed, in relation to the recovery?

Cheers,

Tim

Hi Tim,

thank you for your prompt reply.

I updated the Laptop's BIOS and everything seems to be working.
