Hello,
I think we have identified another potential cause for the error and it might be applicable to your case. We have a registry key in :
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\McAfee Endpoint Encryption\MfeEpePC\Platform:Architecture
Can you let us know what is the value on that key ? If it is UNKNOWN can you replace it with BIOS (assuming that this is a BIOS system)

Hello!
I don't have that key (Wow6432Node) on any of my test boxes.
On my test box of a clean OS install that is encrypting correctly I have this key:
HKLM\Software\McAfee Endpoint Encryption\MfeEpePc\Platform\Architecture and that is set to a DWORD of 1.
On my test box with our image that is failing to encrypt I have this key:
HKLM\Software\McAfee Endpoint Encryption\MfeEpePc\Platform and this key is empty (No Architecture).
Hello,
Sorry got the value mixed up, the 1 means BIOS, if your test box with your image is BIOS can you set the key to 1 as well and report the outcome ?

Success!!!!!!
It's working correctly!
Any idea on what is causing this to not be written correctly?
Hello,
We have some theories but nothing tangible that can be shared at the moment. I'll update this thread once we have a more comprehensive answer.
