I was wondering if there was a way to remove Endpoint Encryption without admin rights from a drive/computer.
I wasn't sure if it was as simple as formatting the drive, or if there is some sort of memory resident - preboot - bios level encryption or password that needs to be removed as well.
I am completely fine with losing ALL data. I do not need to recover any of it at all.
Thank you for the response, unfortunately this is a reclaimed laptop from a company that went under.
Is the pre-boot Endpoint login manager resident in the bios, controller ROM, etc? I'm not familiar with how the pre-boot manager is able to survive bios resets, drive formats, etc.
You should be able to start from scratch by doing the following:
Hope this helps!
