We recently pushed out McAfee EE PC 7.0 to all the laptops and desktop at my office. Everything went smoothly except for my bosses desktop. He has two drives in it, one contains his main windows 7 partition while the other contains his old windows xp partition from his old desktop. While EE encrypted both of them which it was supposed to, it installed the preboot authentication on the xp drive. We know how to decrypt the drives, however this will take a VERY long time and was hoping there would be a way through EETech to move the preboot to his drive that contains Windows 7. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
They are both marked as bootable. The funny thing is that this is the second time this happened. The first time we just decrypted it. I told him to remove the old drive back it up and format is as a nonbootable disk. He'll listen this time since it takes 3 DAYS TO DECRYPT!!!
