McAfee Encrypted USB Bio for pre-boot authentication

Hi every one, i try to put in place a true preboot authentication process with mcafee encryption and the encrypted usb bio on the client side.

The context :

McAfee endpoint encryption 1.1.1

McAfee encrypted usb client 1.5

McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator 4.6

One McAfee Encrypted USB bio 2 Go.

I try to enable the pre-boot authentication with the usb stock on the encryption client on windows 7 at the pr-boot sequence . I've seen the demonstration on how is it possible with the old version of Encrypted USB Manager and a background image but how is it possible with the new version ?

I've try to install the new token in the admin interface of epolicy but have not the xml file to add the new token in the list

First question : is it possible ?

Second question : has somebody test it ?

Third question : how ?

Re: McAfee Encrypted USB Bio for pre-boot authentication

Shortly:

Ad. 1. No.

Ad. 2. No.

Ad. 3. Probably someday and somehow...

Seriously it is not yet supported with EEPC 6.x (as it was with old EEPC 5.x). Maybe we will read here some "mcafeeleaks" about future releases.

Re: McAfee Encrypted USB Bio for pre-boot authentication

demand was very low for this feature, so as the USB sticks evolved through the versions, it was not persisted - if you'd like it though please discuss with your platinum support manager.
