Manage EE Agent Service from Command Line?

Hello,

Can I stop/start/restart the EE Agent Service from an administrative command line?  If so, what is the syntax?

Re: Manage EE Agent Service from Command Line?

What are you trying to achieve by stopping the EE Agent? Are you trying to stop it connecting to EPO?

Re: Manage EE Agent Service from Command Line?

No, we want it to connect to ePO.  When we build new machines, from time to time, they either take a very long time to activate, or they won't activate at all until we either reboot the machine or stop & re-start the EE Agent service.

I get it, I think you can use kc52707, (kc.mcafee.com)

if I remember right you need to enforce policies and then collect and send props

Re: Manage EE Agent Service from Command Line?

Thanks, but we have tried moving it along by enforcing policies & collect/send props, but no good.  It seems to get stuck when querying ePO for the users who should be able to log on.  Not sure why.  We are using automatic booting, so I would imagine it would get past that stage fairly quickly...
