Laptop, fails to boot OS

Hello,

I have a laptop with EE installed.  I get the pre-boot screen and enter token/pin, then a quick message that the OS is starting.  Then the screen goes quickly black and OS fails to load.

No errors, just blank/black screen.

Any ideas on the steps to possibly recover, would be more than greatly appreciated.
