Key used to encrypt hard disk (EEPC 7.0.2) (ePO 5.0.1)

Jump to solution

Hi everyone,

I would like to ask where I would be able to find the key that was used to encrypt the system's hard disk in the ePO console.  I'm using the ePO 5.0.1 and the EEPC 7.0.2. Appreciate it if someone could help me.

Thanks in advance,

Dayana

You can export the recovery key/information for the system from the System Tree.  If you review the XML file, it'll contain the system's key.

Is that the one you're wanting to find?

It is for understanding purpose. I know that there are the security keys that can be found in the server settings and one of them is the ASSC key. Is that key also the one used to encrypt the hard disk?
