How is the encryption done by EEPC ?

I know that EEPC will encrypt the sectors of the harddisk, my doubt is will the eepc encrypt all the sector in the harddisk including empty sector which do not have data in it..

If all the sectors are encrypted in the harddisk then will the time taken to complete the harddisk encryption vary depending on the data stored in the harddisk,??

Re: How is the encryption done by EEPC ?

there are two encryption options - one will encrypt just the data, the other will encrypt the whole disk. You need to Choo which one you use.

if you choose to encrypt the whole disk, it won't matter how much data is on it.
