Endpoint Encryption upgrade from version 6.0.1 to version 6.0.2

With the impending RTW date for Endpoint Encryption version 6.0.2 I had a question regarding the upgrade process. Would the upgrade path from 6.0.1 to 6.0.2 be to just install the new extensions and software to the repository and then run the EEPC Software client task on machines that already have 6.0.1? Thanks.

I speculate that it will be the same as it was from 6.0.0 to 6.0.1.

Re: Endpoint Encryption upgrade from version 6.0.1 to version 6.0.2

How exactly was that accomplished? Is is as I said in the earlier post or is the process different. 6.0.1 is the first version other than 5.x that I have distributed. Is there a document that goes through this process? Thanks again.

By the way, is EEPC 6.0.2 out now? I can´t find it on the McAfee portal site.

its RTS - Release To Support - there's a big banner at the top of the main Data Protection page about it, so no, it's not available for general consumption, only to those who reported issues that are resolve in it (and probably also have Platinum Support etc).

The release notes which ship with it have full details on how to upgrade from previous versions.
