With the impending RTW date for Endpoint Encryption version 6.0.2 I had a question regarding the upgrade process. Would the upgrade path from 6.0.1 to 6.0.2 be to just install the new extensions and software to the repository and then run the EEPC Software client task on machines that already have 6.0.1? Thanks.Message was edited by: kink80 on 11/4/10 9:29:56 AM GMT-06:00
How exactly was that accomplished? Is is as I said in the earlier post or is the process different. 6.0.1 is the first version other than 5.x that I have distributed. Is there a document that goes through this process? Thanks again.
its RTS - Release To Support - there's a big banner at the top of the main Data Protection page about it, so no, it's not available for general consumption, only to those who reported issues that are resolve in it (and probably also have Platinum Support etc).
The release notes which ship with it have full details on how to upgrade from previous versions.Message was edited by: SafeBoot on 11/9/10 4:41:45 AM EST
