EndPoint Encryption EEPC - Duplicate Machines

in our environment we are seeing when a user logon remotely via VPN, it generates a duplicate machine entry in the ePO console.

we are using ePO 4.5 P4

Endpoint Encryprytion: 6.1.3 HF

Client OS: XP

possible cause that i can think is when a machine connect remotely via VPN it is allocated a Virtual NIC which ePO sees as a new entry !!! but fails to delete it when machine is dissconnected.

any input would be appriciated on how to resolve this.

I think the epo team will be able to help you more on this, but yes, vpns need careful setup within epo to stop strange things happening.
