Encryption during deployment?

Hello,

is there maybe a command-line to force encryption after the eepc component gets installed?

We dont want to use offline activation, because we only doing osd in the office.

Because we dont migrate profile information into new windows 7 boxes, there are now users assigned to the client. How we can achieve to encrypt the client during windows 7 deployment?

I hope somebody have a clue.

Thanks.

Re: Encryption during deployment?

not from the command line that I am aware of.

I guess it might be possible to do it using the EPO API to move the system to a new branch (and thus get a new policy?)

Why not just let it activate as normal?

Re: Encryption during deployment?

Okay, my only concern is: how we can ensure, that every device, which is leaving the office, after inital deployment, is encrypted?

And how we can assign users to a new box with minimal expenses for the help desk?

Re: Encryption during deployment?

EEPC will automatically assign domain users, EPO will let you report on the encryption state of the machine?

Your implementation consultant from your McAfee Rep will be able to help you with this, or your platinum support agent.
