You posted this in the Consumer section but the issue is one of endpoint encryption (ePO or EEM) so I've moved the question to Business / Data Protection / Encryption: ePO Managed. One of the moderators there will move it to the correct section if this is not ePO.
This question has been asked before and there are other threads where you may find the answer. See for example https://community.mcafee.com/thread/48624 and https://community.mcafee.com/message/242292#242292
Please use EETech to emergency boot the system, as per the documentation.
This error means that one of the protected files has been corrupted, usually because of a defragmentation activity.
You misunderstand - you need to be working with your company IT team - they should be able to help you.
If you are using EEPC, then you must have it through your company?
Or, are you using Drive Encryption for HP ProtectTools which you got with a HP laptop?
The company IT team are not able to help me on this issue, all they said they do is a re-image.
But I need some importatn files.
Can you please help me with my options
