Are you booting off a USB pen? I've sometimes had machines that blue screen when I use the USB pen i've created with  BartPE+EETech. In thoses cases I've used a actual CD.

Also, had issues with AHCI drivers and the sata operations in BIOS that can sometimes cause blue screens. Usually i set it to ata and use the bartpe without ahci drivers. (also have another disk that has specific ahci drivers for specific laptops and i don't change the sata ops. Not sure why I've had to do this- but they seem to work!) (ps- remember to change bios back to original setting once finished)

Did you ever get resolution on this?  I am inclined to think it is a Windows issue as well, but was simply wondering what happened for resolution.
