I am looking to create an automatically generated e-mail for when EEGO reports that a clients disk has errors (or very basically, if EEGO reports non-compliance due to the local disk having errors).
How would I go about this? I figured that I'd need to go into automation and automatic response, but it seems I can only create automatic responses based on event ID's. I do not know what the event ID of an EEGO disk failure would be (as I've not had one occur), or if it even HAS an event ID.
Any help would be greatfully recieved
Sorry, when I said "I can only create automatic responses based on event ID's", that's not strictly true, obviously. I can filter it for all manner of reasons, but I can't think how I would apply any filter that would give me the data I want.
There's a query in "Queries and Reports" used for EEPC to see the client events. It's filtered like this: Product code <equals> EEADMIN_1000
It uses Client Events to do this. There's a change the product code may be different for EEGO.
Btw, try creating a report first to see the filtering criteria works, then apply it to Automatic Responses and try testing it.
Hope this helps.Message was edited by: georgec on 12/27/11 2:05:35 PM CST
