At the moment I force a reboot (with a 10 minute countdown) after the EEPC installation; however this can be annoying for our users when deploying a update/patch.
So, just wondering how safe it is to delay a reboot after installing a new EEPC version or patch? (e.g. 6.x to 7.x, or 7.x to 7.x.1)
I presume it should be fine given that the disk isn't decrypted & re-encrypted during this process, but hoping to get confirmation on this...

I can tell you I did this during an upgrade from 5.x to 6.1.3 and used the machine for a few days without a problem. I repeated this test more than once to make sure. I recommend you test this to be sure in your environment with your EEPC versions to be sure.
