DE 7.2 installed machine showing wrong resolution on the Encryption screen

We have a system which when Disk Encryption 7.2 is installed, the initial logon screen is very very blurred (i.e. totally the wrong resolution for the screen).

Day to day, apart from the aesthetics of it, it's not too much of a problem as you just type your password and press return.  I envisage problems when the user is prompted to change password or we need to do a recovery as it is extremely hard to read the test.

Re: DE 7.2 installed machine showing wrong resolution on the Encryption screen

What is the make and model and is the system in UEFI Native or Legacy BIOS mode?

My Lenovo T540p in UEFI mode had the same issue and I had to disable CSM in the BIOS.

Re: DE 7.2 installed machine showing wrong resolution on the Encryption screen

Im currently having the same issue on multiple Lenovo Laptops. x250, x1 Carbon 3rd Gen, and T450s. One thing to note though is that some of these laptops are displaying correctly with CSM enabled and all. After trying to disable the CSM the system would not start up. Any ideas?
