Changing Username in AD

Quick question

I am an administrator for EEPC within my organisation.

Sometimes we have to change usernames for ie marriage and so forth with AD. Will Endpoint update the SSID and change the username once sync'd or will I have to create and new AD account with the new username ?

Kind Regards Deebouk.

ePO 4.6

MA 4.6 Patch 2

EEPC 6.2

Re: Changing Username in AD

Hi,

We use the LDAP Unique ID for the every item, which in the case of AD is the ObjectGUID.

So you just need to update the AD and do an EE LDAPSync for the changes to be reflected in ePO.  Then do a wake agent to the client to send the changes down..

Hope that helps.
