I have had problems decrypting some of our laptops. I followed the decryption process suggested by McAfee, created a decryption policy where the policy is enabled and below the encryption tab I have encrypt set to none. I assigned the policy to the laptop and sent a wakeup call, this should have changed the system state from active to inactive which should then be followed by removing the EEPC software and then the encryption agent. The policy is not taking effect as the system state is still showing active and the drive is still encrypted. One thing I have noticed on the laptops giving the problem is when I try to export the recovery information the ePO states that no machine key is available for this system, Could that be the cause? and if it is how do I go about fixing it ?

Users are added to the encrypted laptops, I had the vendor remote and check all the policies...everything looks fine, McAfee is looking into the log files collected through MER.
