Effective immediately, McAfee is pleased to announce that McAfee Endpoint Encryption for Files and Folders (EEFF) now offers full support for NetApp, Samba and EMC network shares for the already available EEFF version 4.0.
These new platforms are supported without any code changes and as a result, any currently deployed EEFF 4.0 client can take advantage of this new support without modification.

Endpoint Encryption for Files and Folders
Does this mean a client version is going to be available for Windows Servers so that these network shares can be encrypted from the server side?
I think you're thinking of SAN storage? If so no, EEFF is client side for normal NAS file shares only. Encrypting at the fabric level is something completely different.
