We are currently using EEPC v6 on our client XP computers, in some cases after a PC stays quite some time with the screen saver, when the user logs in, the computer start "saving your settings" and automatically reboot.
Its there something wrong on this version? any considerations?
Which version? 6.0.0, 6.0.1 or 6.1.0?
Are you sure that perceived reboot is not a scheduled restart that did not complete in desired time?
Is this happening after user successfuly used EEPC preboot few times?
Is version 6.0.0
Im sure, because the machine reboots 2 to 3 times a day. no pending microsoft updates.
Yes, it happens after using pre boot few times.
I've had an issue, as well as others, that if a user goes to unlock their screen, but leaves it at the login screen without putting in the password for more that 2 minutes, the system will go to saving your settings when the user finally goes to login and freeze up .
This is fixed in 6.0.1. Not sure if this is your issue, but just putting it out there.on 5/24/10 8:05:17 AM CDT
