offline activation offline users

on page "How offline activation works" in the McAfee Drive Encryption 7.2.5 Installation Guide states "This package contains the initial set of policies and a list of offline users" and "What happens when an offline activated system connects to McAfee ePO" "it receives the real policy from McAfee ePO and the list of assigned users as in a normal activation."
Are the offline users removed once in online mode?
