installed (an old) version 4.2.x instead of 5.0

i have tried to install EEPC (expected v5.0 as available on module version number) via ePO v5.3
but the installed version is EEPC v4.2 instead of v5.0

now i want to uninstall EEPC from some host, the issue is EEPC v4.2 wont be uninstalled via ePO (probably due to older version of EEPC that ePO  doesn't support)

can i just upgrade EEPC to the newest version (via ePO) to all target hosts?
so I can uninstall EEPC via ePO for later

anny suggest, thank you

Re: installed (an old) version 4.2.x instead of 5.0

You probably meant EEFF, which is Endpoint Encryption for Files and Folders, as EEPC 6.0 was the first version ePO managed, erlier were Endpoint Encryption Manager (EEM) managed.

Now regarding the reset we should clarify exact configuration as I'm bit confused. Can you share any screenshoots explaining your configuration?
