Did you mean:

computers are decrypting on their own

I have a laptop that I noticed no longer had its drive encrypted. I worked on it for a day and no luck. I then took a different laptop and did some Windows updates and this morning I notice the drive is decrypting and it says "Deactivation in progress"

Re: computers are decrypting on their own

Hi User58073020,

Thank you for your post.

Please check if you have a set to a Drive Encryption policy set to decrypt and has been applied to a number of machines.

If the policy is set to deactivate and decrypt, it will show as below:
1.- Policy catalog
2.- Drive encryption Product Settings policy
3.- In the General tap, Enable policy shows 'untick'
4.- In Encryption tap, shows as "none"
