Windows drive encryption Inactive on VPN

Hi We have several Windows endpoint that need to be encrypted (DE 7.2.9.5) while on VPN but they stay 'Inactive' . Mfepe.log says: 2020-09-28 06:21:42,159 ERROR MfeEpeServiceLPCServer Unable to subscribe to data channel item EEADMIN_1000_AddDomainUsersRsp: Unexpected IPC error. Please ensure MA/Point Product service is running. 2020-09-28 06:21:42,159 ERROR MfeEpeServiceLPCServer Unable to unsubscribe from data channel item EEADMIN_1000_AddDomainUsersRsp: Unexpected IPC error. Please ensure MA/Point Product service is running. Similar issue is here: https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB83332&actp=null&viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_U... I already added VPN vendor mac to the epoVirtualMacVendor table, then removed mentioned endpoints from ePO, but they re-appeared with VPN MAC again and still DE is 'Inactive' Appreciate any hints

Re: Windows drive encryption Inactive on VPN

It is possible and in some cases fairly normal to see the error messages noted depending upon the timing of them and whether it is able to subscribe following the instances seen.  We'd really need so take a look at the complete log file but I should note that user names, domain names, system information, etc. are shown so I recommend "scrubbing" them out and just leaving generic substitute information like "DOMAIN\USER1" and "DOMAIN\USER2" etc. before posting.
