Reboot required ?

We are planing to upgrade McAfee Agent from version 5.0.5 to 5.6.1 and MNE from 4.1 to 5.0.1 globally through SCCM. Is reboot required in case of such update ?

Re: Reboot required ?

Hi @ArturXX ,

Thank you for writing in here.

MA upgrade and MNE upgrade does not require restarts, provided BitLocker is already activated on the client machines with the previous version of MNE.

However, MNE 5.X has new features introduced, kindly go through them before using MNE 5.X

Kind Note: McAfee always recommends using EPO for product deployments and upgrades.

Kindly test the upgrades on one or two machines initially as a test run.
