Pre Added Encrytpion Users

Migration of Computers with Drive Encryption from one EPO server to another, I was planning on adding all the users from an Encrytion Users group to the directory, so after Migration the machine would not decrypt.

I get the message "WARNING: You are about to add more than the recommended number of users to one or more machines."

Where does this get set? How should this be managed?

Re: Pre Added Encrytpion Users

Hello,

How exactly are you migrating the systems, and how do you usually assign users? If you are using automatic user assignments all you need to do is to register the same LDAP server/s with the new ePO and enable synchronization. The systems will move across with their users and if they have the same policy nothing will change.

Re: Pre Added Encrytpion Users

Nothing we did seemed to work. All of the recommened processes you suggest and others suggested by support did not keep, machines once migrated using the Transfer process worked.

Manually pushing the agent on the machines does seem to work, but it is tedious process for a large group.
