McAfee Fatal Error

Hi, I am using a company laptop and got the dreaded encryption fatal error black screen.

What are the steps I can take to resolve the issue so I can log onto my desktop?  Note that I do not have the administration password available either.  Please advise in layman's terms as I an not up to speed with computer code.

Note that the computer I am using is a Dell Latitude 7440.  On a side note, is this laptop too dated to be using for a large company?
