MVision ePO Customer Master Key

We need to find out how to set up a customer master key for MNE used in MVISION ePO.

I found this link with instructions:

Create a Customer Master Key on AWS (for use with MVISION ePO) - McAfee Management of Native Encrypt...

The instructions are not complete. Especially step 4.

They skip over many options that need to be selected in AWS.

Why is using AWS necessary for creating a customer master key at all?

Which options in AWS are required or preferred (asymmetric, symmetric, KMS, External etc.)
