Hello,
I'm trying to remove an USB device (kingstone) from the exempted devices list but it throws me an error - "An unknown error occurred".
What could be the possible solution for this issue ?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Actually the FRP key was expired and I think that's the reason it was giving an error. I just extend the expiration for the FRP key and looks like I was able to remove the device from the list.
It's all set now. Thanks for the help guys.
Are you trying to modify a policy in ePolicy Orchestrator(ePO) and encountering the error? If yes then could you let us know which Endpoint Security (ENS) policy you are trying to modify and what setting in particular, so that I can look up for any issues reported with this policy and setting.

Hi @mkazi,
May I know if this is regarding DLP product? If so I would request any Moderator or you to kindly move this topic to https://community.mcafee.com/t5/Data-Loss-Prevention-DLP/bd-p/data-loss-prevention.
Thank you for more details. This should be addressed by DLP and FRP experts. I am afraid you may have to move your post to the DLP forum:

I am afraid I am not trained on this product. @JaganA might be able to help you with this one.
@mkazi I presume, only Kindston device details are included in the excluded definition. In that case, simply disable it. Refer to attached screenshot.
In case, there are other device details available in the same definition then remove the device details belong to the device Kingston from the definition.
If you still need assistance, create a ticket with support to get assistance in remote.
