Hello,
This may be an unusual question, but I have found myself with a requirement where only a USB drive used for personal backups needs to be encrypted, whilst all other USB drives will have to be left encrypted. The problem here is that the use needs to transfer data on brand new USB drives to be sent out, therefore excluding each drive is not going to be an options. Any ideas and/or suggestions?
Many Thanks.
Hi @Linuxxo ,
Thank you for writing in here.
However I am unable to understand your question in here, could you please clarify the same.
"where only a USB drive used for personal backups needs to be encrypted, whilst all other USB drives will have to be left encrypted"
Thank you
Hi,
Apologies if it was not clear. We have a requirement where users will need to encrypt personal backups created on their PCs and saved on a dedicated USB drive, however any other USB drives should never be encrypted. Is there a functionality within the FRP to specify the only drive that should be encrypted?
Just to give a bit more background info, users will be purchasing USB flash drives, where files will be transferred from their PCs and send them out to customers. Basically those drive will only be used once with our systems and cannot be encrypted. Having to manually exclude each new drive would not be an ideal solution.
