Drives still encrypted/corrupted after decrypt policy applied
We applied the decrypt policy to endpoints and the drives are still encrypted or corrupted. Trying to get a MER on an impacted system.
Dell Precision 5820 Tower
Intel(R) Xeon(R) W-2155 CPU @ 3.30GHz
OS Type:Windows 10,OS Platform:Workstation,OS Version:10.0
OS Build Number 19042
We have the latest compatibility rule in ePO per https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB81900.
We will try and obtain the make and models of the drives impacted. We cannot glean that information from ePO as the MDE is deactivated.
Re: Drives still encrypted/corrupted after decrypt policy applied
If collecting a MER, I'd suggest that an SR be opened and it be submitted there rather than anything to this forum as it contains various information that you may not want out on a forum. If you want to post just the MfeEpe.log here, that is a bit of a better option but there are still some items like user names, domain information, etc. so you may want to redact such items before posting it. The SR with the MER is probably the best way to go though.
Don't forget, when your helpful posts earn a kudos or get accepted as a solution you can unlock perks and badges. Those aren't the only badges, either. How many can you collect? Click here to learn more.
