Drive Encryption Status is Inactive - 7.2.8.4

I found the following KB Article - KB83505 which seems to fit our scenario pretty much to the T, however, I'm unsure if this is still a valid article or if there's a newer solution since this document is a year and a half old.

I just think it's strange to only have one machine out of several we're imaging to not properly encrypt.

Any help is appreciated.

Re: Drive Encryption Status is Inactive - 7.2.8.4

Hello,

In case you see both errors in MfeEpe.log and EpeEventHandler.log, it is still applicable. Otherwise there are at least two articles mentioning similar or same error codes.

In case above information was useful or answered your question, please select "Accept as Solution" in my reply, or give a Kudo. Thanks!

Re: Drive Encryption Status is Inactive - 7.2.8.4

Just a heads up this issue was sorted out by doing a re-image (system had just been recently imaged already) and re-pushing Drive Encryption to the system.

It was just strange to see only one laptop with the problem come up, others were receiving encryption status just fine.
