Drive Encryption Recovery after Reboot

Good Morning,

My environment is running into an issue following weekly updates\reboot that our devices are forced into Drive Encryption recovery mode. Do we know if this is a known issue or things we can look for to resolve this issue? It's been plaguing us for some time.

OS: Windows 10 1703:

Hardware: Dell Latitudes, 7470, 7490

Drive Encryption: 7.2.7

@MarcusP Thanks for choosing Support Community.

What do you mean by Drive Encryption Recovery Mode?

How are you recovering the system?

What is the exact error message that appears, share the screen capture if possible.

Are you using TPM autoboot option?

Re: Drive Encryption Recovery after Reboot

We use temporary autoboots after updates. It typically works pretty well. There are some occasions where it doesn't but, for the most part, it works. Highly recommend.
