I have a Dell Latitude 5414 Rugged that will not activate Bit locker. I am running McAfee Management of Native Encryption ver 126.96.36.199 and have the policy setup to use TPM and enable Bitlocker but when it tries to it fails. The weird thing is the message it is giving me. It saying a compatible TPM has been detected but then says it cant activate because no compatible TPM is detected.
TPMManagement.Activity: A compatible TPM has been detected on this system 07/07/2021 12:31:08.956 PM MNEService(868,8836) <SYSTEM> PrecedenceAlgorithm.Debug: Applying Tpm 07/07/2021 12:31:09.055 PM MNEService(868,8836) <SYSTEM> Tpm.Debug: Setting up TPM protector for volume C: 07/07/2021 12:31:09.600 PM MNEService(868,8836) <SYSTEM> Tpm.Error: Cannot activate using TPM: No compatible TPM found on this system when activating volume: C:. The machine is on the latest BIOS version and TPM is up to date. Any one had this before? Anyone know a fix??
