Re: RE: webRecovery hanging

I have been advised to wait for 5.2.3 because that release uses the apache version

Re: RE: webRecovery hanging

I don't suppose they told you when 5.2.3 is going to be released?  As we are suffering the same issue and I'm reluctant to go through the hassle of logging it with Support if they are telling UK customers to wait...

Re: RE: webRecovery hanging

We have the same issue with user self webrecovery.  I finally gave up on it.  I was very happy to see the release of local recovery which we are starting to roll with.  Thus far it seems to be working fine in testing.

At one time we had issues with helpdesk webrecovery where it would hang after entering the client code.  To fix this issue in we had to deselect the HTTP 1.1 setting in the IE advanced internet options.

Re: RE: webRecovery hanging

That workaround does not always work and there were other bugs/anomalies.

Lets see if 5.2.3 brings improved service.

Re: RE: webRecovery hanging

We'll give the workaround a try anyway, whilst we wait for either the Apache web console or 5.2.3 (whenever this is?!)

Just thought I'd post to say that i managed to get hold of the apache version, it's installed and working a treat!

Re: RE: webRecovery hanging

Good. Even better, because there seem to be NO Apache version in today released EEM 5.2.3.

Also SbHTTP Web files are dated September, 2008. So it looks quite old for me.

Re: RE: webRecovery hanging

I don't get how they can offer different advice for organisations in the UK?  Admittedly I had to get the files from another company that i could see were given the required files!

You had to get them from other company? That's outrageous.
