maximum possible input data size for EEFF v.3.2.5 self-extrator

Dear community,

I have a general question:

- Is there a any limitiation on maximum input-data size for McAfee Endpoint Encryption for Files and Folder self-extrator client?

We use currently v. 3.2.5.

I cannot find anything about limitations.

The Admin manual states that  largest recommended size is about 10 MB, but we did much more until now (5GB already).

Problem is now when we try to enrypt 6 GB of one Datafile, to transfer it safely. (don't ask why).

Error behaviour: it creates only 312 kb File in a few seconds, that is result of encryption process, but no error message.

Thanks in in advance for any information about that,

Regards,

Cryptor2009.

The max theoretical size will be limited to the max file size supported by your OS, less the size of the encrypted stub which I think is a couple of hundred KB.

But, as you say, the max supported size is much less.
