e0130004 error after execute installation set. (EEPC5.2.9)

Hi,

As you know, "Install to folder" is set as default "[Program Files]\McAfee\Endpoint Encryption for PC".

I created a 5.2.9 installation set with changing "Install to folder" to another folder.

In that time, when I execute the installation set on client machine, e0130004 error comes.

So, I'd like to ask anyone. Basically, EEPC doesn't support changing "Install to folder" from default?

I am so sorry in advance..... I re-created the installation set, the error doesn't come somehow....

So my issue is closed.

Yes it supports. I myself done this many times..

error [e0130004 ] says Unable to create file

please check admin rights & permission on that folder/drive

Thank you reply.

But, I think it is no problem for admin right & permission in my client machine environment.

The reason is, this error doesn't come when I used a installation set created by initial installed 5.2.9 EEM server.

I wonder that server environment would be related to this error...

How do you think?

r u using old instllation set ?

did you updated file groups ?

did you created new installation set ?

did you checked file groups selected in group properties ?

Hi all,

I describe additional information. The EEM server is upgraded from 5.1.3.

I wonder that server environment would be related to this error...

I have a Win XP client and when I install EEPC 5.2.12 install set, I get the same error.  I didn't change the location of the install files while creating the install set.  Nothing has changed or updated with the client files.  In fact, this same install set was used on a separate Win 7 client and it encrypted successfully.  Any ideas on how to install the install set successfully?
