I am facing this error
Platform : Windows Vista
SafeBoot : 5.2.2
Working fine with encryption. than We enabled Local recovery for user and got error [e0050040] Unable to remove client data store object. (see tha snap2)
See the attached Log and snaps.
I have enable Local recovery on couple of machines and on 17 machine got this error. to Fix this error I am recovering machine with Machine recovery option and than I delete the user and again create the user.Problem is solve for that machine.
but for this machine I m getting error [e0050040] Unable to remove client data store object (see the Log)
Now as per error through Eboot this problem can be solved but When I am trying Eboot Machine got stuck while booting...
Note : SATA native mode is enabled.
Any solution ????
is your problem the Eboot, or the client data store error? You can stop the latter by upgrading to the current version, but if your problem is during an eBoot, you need to be more specific about the situation you are in - what exactly did you do, and what errors are you seeing?
our version 5.2.4 and we having issue on updating or read data store not remove
since this hapen to many client and not practical for us to do eboot we report this to mcafee support
and they comes backwith .dll fixed.if not mistaken this .dll fixed include in version 5.2.5
So far this issue has been resolved for us.
So better check with your mcafee support on this..
Maybe this not machine/sbfs issue but mee client issue unable to update SBFS..
Get's stuck during EBoot? At which point?
It does not proceed to Vista bool logo, but it shows just black screen (with stuck mouse pointer or blinking cursor?)
That could be infamous USB handover problem. What hardware is your PC? Do you have BIOS USB Legacy enabled?
What machine object properties (from EEM) option is selected for "Always enable pre-boot USB support" ?
i had isue with eboot using old safetech version the eboot stuck..
eboot issue resolved after i using the new version.
if you had many issue on datastore i think it's more on client issue..
Check with mcafee support on SbChkDsk.dll
we got the new dll which fix most of our datastore issue.
