RE: adding user to machine group

yes I see it syncd in the client log

It appears in the group as test1@domain.com

I have tried to login using test1 and test1@domain.com

test1 says invalid user and test1@domain.com gives me authentication parameters incorrect

RE: adding user to machine group

for the latter then, you're simply typing the wrong password 😉

what password did you tell the connector to create for the user? Try that.

Simon.

12345 worked!

can you not import and AD users account with its AD password?

I wish - AD does not know what your password is unfortunately, so there's nothing to import.

RE: adding user to machine group

It works with Utimaco 😄

I have just started to review this product as Ill be reselling it to out customer base so have worked a lot with utimaco to date.

I will be rolling this out to 5000 users in my first project. Are you saying that 5000 users with have a new password for this? Can I sync the Mcafee password with windows password?

RE: adding user to machine group

sure you can sync it - there's a whole bunch of options to do just that. Also you can use the standard API to do user provisioning and capture the credentials etc.

perhaps you should get some training if you are intending to resell the product?
